Archer Nguyen Tien Cuong of Ha Noi broke national record in the men''s
50m three-stringed bow with 352 points at the ongoing National Sports
Games in the northern port city of Hai Phong yesterday.
Nguyen Tien Cuong of Ha Noi won seven gold medals and broke five
national records at the National Archery Championships, which ended in
the northern province of Phu Tho yesterday.
Archer Nguyen Tien Cuong is hoping to build on his initial successes at
regional competitions to lift the profile of his sport in Viet Nam
while also pursuing his dream to one day compete at the Olympics.
Hanoian Nguyen Tien Cuong continued his golden
streak at the ongoing National Archery Championships by winning the
men''s 50m compound (three-stringed bow) event in the northern port city
of Hai Phong.
